Let me share what I've learned after 13 years of using Linux as my main operating system.
## Background
I started using Linux in 2011, I was a Windows user, but I was curious about Linux, so I decided to give it a try. I started with Ubuntu, and I was very happy with it, at some point, I wanted to learn much more about Linux, so I decided to try ArchLinux, and that was the best decision I've ever made, as I never looked back.

Note: You don't need to use ArchLinux to learn Linux, you can learn Linux using any distribution, but ArchLinux is a good distribution to learn Linux because it _forces_ you to read the documentation, and to understand how the system works - ~~not since the guided installer~~ -.
